Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band was named White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. In spite of always having an interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed in an area bakery on a part-time basis to help his family financially. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in the year 2010. In the contest, the group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. They were however in third place in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco Record label.
