SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10 in 1980) is also known professionally as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly a model. She portrayed Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). [2] She has also appeared in the main role Det. Dani Reese is a character in the series Life[3] and Alias. In the year 2018, she was a part of the television series Reverie. She starred in a recurring part in City on a Hill on Showtime [5] and in seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo, her romantic interest. Shahi met Robert Altman during her time as an extra in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. He encouraged Shahi to relocate to Hollywood and she received roles on Alias and Dawson's Creek in addition to Reba as well as Supernatural. In 2005, she played the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in the show The L Word. She joined the show in its second season. Shahi's contract, which ran for two years, was not renewed after the end of the fourth season. Shahi was dismissed.
