Kari Samantha (born on April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actor and singer. She began her acting career when she was just a teen. Her most well-known role is for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. While she was a kid, Wuhrer sang at nightclubs, and then went on to sing. After attending the Wooster School at the age of thirteen She began her studies in drama. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known instructor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied.
