Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19th, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. to a family of 12 poor kids who would grow together eventually, learned very early how to get out of the difficulties she faced by using her rich and vivid imagination. The songs she wrote were composed before she learned to write or read. After 8 years of age, she had her very first guitar. At age 11, she began to sing at the Knoxville Tennessee radio station. Gold Band Records is a small, independent label. Even though she became popular in the local scene while she was at the high school years, her ambitions were greater. On the very day she graduated the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Around this time, Porter Wagoner was looking for a new girl singer for his syndicated television show. Parton was offered the gig and in the year 1967, she signed with RCA Records in 1968 and became a member of with the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974 as her solo songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts. Parton, after the split of their collaboration with Wagoner, wrote"I Will Never Love You and made it to the top spot at No. The song of Parton in 1974."I Will Never Love You peaked at No.
